Summer training is vital to promotion.


Children's classes will be offered to Level I through Dance Theatre.
Adult ballet classes will be offered at two levels.
Exercise class is offered to teens & adults.


Students are required to attend all classes in their assigned level.  Exceptions will be made only after consultation with the student's instructor(s) and permission has been granted by the director(s).  Adults may register for one or two weekly classes.

Since the school was founded in 1972, students from the Dance Academy have pursued professional careers with many North American ballet companies including:  New York City Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, National Ballet of Canada, Ballet Mississippi, Nashville Ballet, Missouri Concert Ballet, Dayton Ballet, Dayton Contemporary Dance Company, Cincinnati Ballet, Indianapolis Ballet, Ballet Jazz Montreal, San Diego Ballet, Miami City Ballet as well as Louisville Ballet. 

Placement Auditions for new students who have had previous training will be held at the University of Louisville Friday, June 3.  Please call 852-6878 for an appointment.  (This does not apply to students taking adult classes or exercise  classes.)

Registration will be accepted on a first come basis.  Send in the completed form with 1/2 tuition to secure a spot with us for the summer.  The balance is due by June 5 , 2006 in order to waive $20 registration fee.  Registration must be completed before admittance to classes.  There will be no refunds or adjustments for missed lessons.
